I really thought Dane and Lauren had amazing chemistry together. And I think there an awesome couple to get this series started. I loved reading about some of the other guys and gals that other stories in this series will be about.
I felt really bad for Lauren in this book she went through a lot in this book both on and off the pages. Dane had some upsets in his life as well. And of course he tries to push Lauren away like a lot of heroes in books like to do. The danger in the book gets pretty intense when Lauren is involved. Of course other side characters in the book faces danger as well.
I would have to say that my favorite character besides Lauren and Dane is Nate who is going to be the hero in the next book, and I can't wait. I also really like Lauren's brother Drew.
I was given this book from Xpresso Book Tours for the purpose of giving my honest opinion on how I felt about the book. My opinions are my own and no one else's.
I really think people that love such series like Cindy Gerard, Maya Banks and Katie Reus should really love this book and series as well.
