I couldn't  figure out how to put an excerpt onto my post sorry about that.

I really thought when I started reading this book I wouldn't be able to finish it because I had a hard time getting into the book, it was just really confusing to me. I am so glad I kept reading it because it gets a lot better and I really enjoyed a lot of the individuals that Willow the main character meets along the way.

There are deaths along the way and their really upsetting too me. I don't understand why a couple of them had to die. I had a few favorite characters, I really liked Raz who is a wilding, Ramai who is a  dwarf, Growl who is a wolf, and Willow's friend Tristan. While i only gave this book 3*,I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. While it ended in a cliffhanger.it wasn't a super oh my god why did it have to end this way type of book ending.

I will definitely be getting the next book to see what happens next to Willow and her very interesting friends. Oh also its safe for kids to read there is no romance in at least this first book, who knows about the next one.
