My Review
I thought the audible part of the book was pretty good. I would give that part 4/5 stars, and the plot, characters, etc 5/5 stars.
I really enjoy the character of Keeve, I thought for being only 15, she was very grown-up. I thought she was very brave for all that was going on in her very young life. I really hope things turn out for her in the end.
I also really loved the character of Kai who is also an anomaly like Keeva. I really hope that those two get together in the end.
One character I am not sure about but am very interested in is Calix, whom is the bad guy of the book son. His torn right now between if he wants to be like his dad. I think he would love to be bad but it also terrifies him. I really hope he chooses the right path in the end.
Now the bad guy of the book whose name is Sobek, his such a jerk and what he does to those kids is just down right awful. And I really hope he gets it in the end.
The ending was one hell of a cliffhanger and I really can't wait for the next book in the series to come out, so I can see what happens next.
Back to the audible part of the review. I really have a hard time with them, just because I get distracted very easy. So giving my rating of 4/5 is like getting 5/5. I did buy the ebook to follow along with it. Then I went back just in case I missed anything and just read the ebook. So if you love audible books, I really think you'll enjoy this book a lot. But even if you don't like audible, I think if you bought the book you would really enjoy it a lot as well. The plot to me, I really loved, but what happens to these kids when they go to camp starting at the age of 5 is just so not right. And why Keeva, Kai, etc are anomalies is just so heartbreaking.
